🇹🇷 Dünya prömiyerini geçtiğimiz ağustos ayında Telluride Film Festivali’nde yapan The Assistant’ın başrolünde Ozark dizisiyle Emmy kazanan genç oyuncu Julia Garner yer alıyor. Garner filmde Rose adlı genç bir kadına hayat veriyor. Mezun olduktan sonra büyük umutlarla girdiği iş yerinde erkek iş arkadaşları ve patronunun küçümseyici tavırlarıyla uğraşmak zorunda olan Rose, sıkı çalışan, güvenilir biri olmanın günümüzün kapitalist düzeninde pek bir kıymeti olmadığını yavaş yavaş fark etmeye başlarken, yanında çalıştığı film yapımcısı hakkında keşfettiği gerçekler içine girdiği sistemin tahmin ettiğinden bile daha yozlaşmış olabileceğini gösterecek.

🇬🇧 The Assistant, which had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival last August, stars young actress Julia Garner, who won an Emmy for the Ozark series. Garner plays a young woman named Rose in the film. After graduating, she enters the workplace with high hopes and has to deal with the condescending attitudes of her male co-workers and boss. Rose slowly begins to realize that being a hard worker and reliable person has little value in today's capitalist system, while the truths she discovers about the film producer she works for will show her that the system she has entered may be even more corrupt than she expected.
